Effective September 26, 2022, the City of Brooksville declared a State of Emergency for the City due to impending Hurricane Ian.
Please be advised that all City of Brooksville facilities will be closed effective Monday, September 26, 2022, at 5:00 pm and will remain closed through Monday, October 3, 2022, at 8:00 am. This will include all city buildings/facilities, parks and the cemetery.
The City Sandbag Site will remain open until further notice. The sandbag site is located at 600 S. Brooksville Ave., Brooksville, FL. This is a self-serve site and residents are reminded to take only what they need and to leave the shovels for the next resident to use.
