CITY OF BROOKSVILLE DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY SEVERE WEATHER TO IMPACT BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA

CITY OF BROOKSVILLE DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY SEVERE WEATHER TO IMPACT BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA 

           Per City Code Article 5, Section 34.112 and F.S. Ch 252, the Mayor of the City Council of the City of Brooksville hereby declares a state of local emergency effective January 9, 2024. The severe weather threatening Florida may include damaging wind, tornadoes, hail, flooding and power outages. Additionally, Governor DeSantis has issued Executive Order 24-03 to include Hernando County as being under a state of emergency from severe weather impacting the state of Florida.
