The Property Improvement Matching Grant Program provides funding of a one-to-one dollar match with a maximum grant of $25,000.00 awarded to any property for eligible approved projects for up to two applications within a one-year period. Award of grant funds are made following completion and final inspection of the improvement project. The Executive Review Committee makes award recommendations to the CRA to fund applicants of this program.  Grant funds financing this program come from the Community Redevelopment Agency’s Tax Increment Financing Trust Fund.

Grant funds have been awarded to the following business:

 Law Office of Jimmy Brown, 211 S. Main St., Brooksville was granted $22,000 for roof renovations. 

All properties located in the Brooksville CRA district are eligible for this property improvement matching grant program. The area includes properties that front along portions of Main Street, Liberty Street, Broad Street, Jefferson Street, Fort Dade Avenue, and Saxon Avenue. Applicants need to refer to the 2024 Grant Guidelines and Application prior to applying.
