Boards & Commissions
Public involvement is essential to the City's decision-making process, and these appointed advisory bodies are an important and valued part of City government. Advisory Boards and Committees serve as advisory groups to the City Council. Boards, Commissions, and Committee members are appointed by City Council and may consist of City Officials and residents. Each group is established to secure the participation of City of Brooksville residents to promote good government and the effective and efficient delivery of services and decision-making processes.
The Office of the City Clerk maintains a current list of City Boards, Commissions, and Committees, the current seats available, and upcoming meeting dates and times. The Clerk also coordinates all appointments to these positions.
Interested in serving? General requirements are that applicants must have an interest in civic involvement, and must be 18 years of age or older.
